Was the VA law voted in?
That matters less and less these days.
If something doesn’t pass the first time then they keep throwing it out there until it does.
If something does pass they don’t like then they keep putting something to counter it on the ballot until that passes.
This is easier to do with local governments but this is happening with more frequency and at higher levels.

I will NEVER understand why this isn't a thing...
Democrats would lose votes. It's that simple.

Fellon's should be able to vote. If you served your time there shouldn't be stipulations on you returning back to society or what was the point of serving your time.
Wrong.
There has to be lasting consequences.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) announced Monday that he is introducing a legislative package that would repeal voter identification requirements and implement no-excuse absentee voting.
Republicans know that the more people who are given the opportunity to vote, the fewer Republicans that get elected. Perhaps it's time to change your message to appeal to more Americans, rather than disenfranchising those you do not think will vote for your party.

We need to get back to the constitution's intent where only land owners can vote.
I’m a broke arse shite med student and you’re saying I won’t be able to vote until I own land? Yea, frick that.
And owning land as a requirement to vote is completely un-American.
