Modern Revolutions are fought because the young feel that the olds are screwing them over. They are fought beause those with less feel those with more are screwing them over. The olds created a situation that caused tuition prices to skyrocket out of control, along with the olds created a narrative that you HAD to go to college (and take on all that debt) to be successful in life. The young realized they were lied to, sold a bill of goods, and are pissed. They feel that wiping out 10K of debt was a way for the olds to make amends for the situations they caused. And now they realize that... they might have been lied to about that as well. And there's one party that is preventing them from getting it. And y'all wonder why they vote Democrat...
I’m a Republican, guises. I really am. Honest and for true.

How did the "olds" do this
“Olds” didn’t have anything to do with this.
Devyn and Brevin deciding to go to Out-of-state-school U because “the campus is really cool and the vibes are immaculate” and then taking out the max loan amount to pay for a Liberal Arts degree did it.

In-state Tuition + fees at LSU are just below $6K per semester. Toss in books, you probably looking at $6500-$7000.
Tops can cover most of the tuition portion of $4K: $2700, $2900 or $3100, so a student with the minimum tops $$ would be paying around $4K per semester.
If you don't frick around and finish in 4 years, that's $32,000 for a 4 year UG degree. The problem is a student will go out and secure a $10K per semester loan and use it as their spending money and rack up $80K in student loans for something that cost $32K.
frick anyone who did this and is screaming to be bailed out.

It is very scarier that an 18 year old generation Z turd is deciding our fate.
