Jackson argued, must be interpreted by its plain text and therefore is overbroad and must be struck down. REMEMBER THIS FOR LATER CASES AND OPINIONS FROM JACKSON.

This should get fun. Jackson’s the kind of hack who will claim the plain language is at play when it suits her yet consult the penumbras and enumerations when it will help her.

SCOTUSBlog is an example of how you cover politics from a neutral position. They are outstanding.

Is it really possible for California to redraw its 52 congressional districts in such a way that all 52 of them are represented by Democrats?

That would truly be groundbreaking, and progressive.

Look at a Red/Blue national map and be careful what you ask for.

It helps that they don't cover politics. Amy and Tom do a great job with the blog and it helps both of them have taught and practiced Supreme Court Litigation.

If they pass Biden’s student debt forgiveness plan, our economy is going to take a major hit. Taxes will go up along with inflation, all because a bunch of dumbass self-centered entitled Gen Z fairies don’t want to take responsibility for making stupid decisions regarding finance. What a fricking clown world we live in.

debt forgiveness plan

That's a prima facie oxymoron. No debt is "forgiven", it's simply transferred.

If this executive order is upheld by the court, it's terrible legal precedent, and can carry over to all manner of both public and private loan agreements.
