This is the environment in which he shines - SCOTUS nominations should be bipartisan affairs. Neither side has clean hands, overall, but the Dems have significantly weaponized the process since Reagan.

He's kind of bringing the heat and calling BS on the entire country. He's been solid.

I’ve gained a ton of respect for Graham over the last 24 hours

I liked his line about how Kavanaugh would probably get around 90 votes before our government went to shite.

Graham just completely destroyed the last 30 minutes in his first 30 seconds.
Cliffs? Just tuned in.

He just totally ruin the Dems ads for midterms with that line

Have they stopped all the idiocy of yesterday yet?
Posted on 9/5/18 at 11:12 am to sms151t
Nope the left is still yelling and doing crap..

I get they’re trying to block this but do they not get they don’t have votes and Mitch the Bitch (at times) will get this vote in no matter what?

It’s a dog and pony show. They are doing this to fire up their base. This is not about actually blocking Kavanaugh.

Not completely - they're following a schedule. They were rowdy at first. Now they let the Dem pound on Kavanaugh for 30 minutes in silence, then when the Rep starts questioning, they fire 2 to 4 of their plants with some nonsensical slogan.
If I were Grassley, after the 3rd time, I would just clear the gallery and arranged for folks to watch on closed circuit television.
I agree with Graham, shockingly, that it's GD shame that a SCOTUS nominee's family can't reasonably attend his confirmation hearings.
Because liberalism (progressivism?) is a mental disorder. That's why.

"Can we have a hearing where this man's kids can be present?! What kind of country have we become?!"
Looking directly out at audience. Lol, wish he would have added, "have half of you even bathed this week?"

This is wrong place to campaign in my opinion. But hey I’m just a Left handed Right thinking teacher in a flyover state next to Walmart who goes to church and hunts. What do I know?

Half the Democrats on the Committee aren't even in the room to listen to Graham's questioning.
Posted on 9/5/18 at 11:19 am to GetCocky11
Did Graham just toss out innuendo to his wife?
Posted on 9/5/18 at 11:20 am to Ollieoxenfree99
Yes, and then Kavanaugh told Feinstein that he had her to thank.

Anybody who doesn't vote for Judge K to be confirmed is a political hack. The guy obviously knows his shite and is qualified.
