He's right you know. Just like the Biden cartel trying to lock their agenda in through future administration despite being overwhelmingly rejected.

He actually wasn't a man of "tremendous faith". He helped change the southern Baptist Church hierarchy to be "more accepting" of sin, thus overlooking actual scriptures.
He also backed and supported the SPLC.

They’re a fricking terrorist organization.

I, for one, am very skeptical about the "faith" of Jimmy Carter.

He was an arse to current Presidents. He set horrible political precedence. He was very anti Israel. Was weak in foreign and domestic policy. He didn't just lose in 1980...he was thrown out the door saloon style by almost the entire country.
Maybe he was a good husband?

The media is trying to make Carter appear to be a great President, let me throw up
FACTS-He was an abysmal failure as President starting with the worst inflation, double digit mortgage interest rates, horrible foreign policy and couldn't negotiate the release of American hostages in Iran(held hostage 444 days). On Reagan's first day in office the hostages were released!!!

Dude, your takes are the absolute worst. Can't even fathom the depths of your naivety or abject stupidity.

This board believes that Israelis are ALWAYS the good guys despite the acts of terrorism they engaged in pre 1948 against both the British and to the local Palestinians...you know, marching them into the desert to essentially die in the Negev....or Sharon unleashing Israeli troops into refugee camps in the early 80s to slaughter unarmed people.
Israel is not always the pure and blameless actor that they try to make themselves out to be. I'm not talking about hitting back against Hamas and Hezbollah....they had that right and both organizations deserved it. But during the 40s - 80s they were not exactly victims in the things they did. Begin was a terrorist with the Ergun. Shamir was an active member of the Stern Gang. Both taught the Palestinians how to be effective terrorists.
Carter had brokered the peace with Egypt and he wanted to expand it. Sometimes he was way to optimistic about his abilities and naive about that his goals could be acheived.

We used to call him the best, ex-President. Had he let his political bias go (as was expected of former president's before him), he would have nothing but that reputation.
PS - And don't discount people on this board. Many have worked both domestically and out the country - to serve on mission trips.

Come on. Carter devoted his post-political life to service.
The problem is so much of that "service" was screwing around with U.S. foreign policy despite not being POTUS anymore.

Not a Carter fan but he was probably the last president to not gain generational wealth in his post presidential life.
That was because he was toxic and had zero influence after his presidency
He was an arrogant egotistical prick that stuck his nose in so much shite trying to be relevant and create a positive legacy. Always publicly offering advice and counsel when none was requested.
His writing of the letters to to all of our allies and to Arab states, asking them to abandon their cooperation and coalition with the United States during the Gulf War is a direct contradiction to his Carter Doctrine where he stated that any disruption to the stability of the Gulf region would be an assault on the vital interests of the United States and met with military force.
Always a “Look at me! Look at me!” guy, F-him.

He was not a man of faith but a heretic who believed in universalism or that there were many ways to get in heaven . He was one of those that Jesus said would tell him all the things they had done for him but did not treat Him as Lord and He told them I never knew you , depart from me you who do evil

I'm just glad he lived long enough to see the new worst president, Joe Biden.
By absolutely no measure is Biden the worst POTUS ever. Too many on this board suggest Obama and Biden are the worst ever and refuse to study basic history. Carter literally left office with gas lines, 25% home mortgage rates, and could't get hostages home. LBJ destroyed the black comminuty and nuclear family, etc. These are just presidents of the past 60 years.
