Yep! The EXACT reason why our healthcare is as shitty as it is today!
Tort reform would go a long way.
Amen.

Trump can't fire Mueller
This is true. Only the attorney general or acting attorney general may fire the special counsel.
Edit: I got bored last night and looked up the rules regarding special counsel. What I find curious though is how they met the 3 qualifications needed for the appointment in the first place.

What specifically are you struggling with:
quote:
The Attorney General, or in cases in which the Attorney General is recused, the Acting Attorney General, will appoint a Special Counsel when he or she determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted and -
quote:
(a) That investigation or prosecution of that person or matter by a United States Attorney's Office or litigating Division of the Department of Justice would present a conflict of interest for the Department or other extraordinary circumstances; and
quote:
(b) That under the circumstances, it would be in the public interest to appoint an outside Special Counsel to assume responsibility for the matter.

Where is the proof Trump has done anything illegal?
Anything after that first line is bullshite.

Do you seriously not know what an investigation is?

Then why are they looking into his finances now?

That's how investigations work

You must not have paid attention during the Whitewater investigation. SC has a lot of latitude.

If Jeff sessions is replaced does the new AG have the ability to fire the special prosecutor ? The current deputy Ag would lose his status ? Holy shite storm if that happens, not sure the senate would approve a new Ag but in the case for Cruz, maybe just to get him out of the senate

I guess the only difference would be THE REASON to begin the investigation in the first place.
Dance around it all you want; but this isn't going to happen like you think it will.

It's already happening like I thought it would. Trumpkins welcomed it at first, realized it was really happening, and don't like it so much now.
But it ain't ending like you thought it would!

OK. So why are you melting over it so much?

I'm not.
I'm arguing simple logic, while you continue with your troll.

BS...not Meuller, Comey's "mentor". That would be the Comey that ILLEGALLLY LEAKED in order to get a SP; and likely knew it would be his buddy Meuller.
Rotten to the core. And the longer it takes Meuller, the more time Trump has to publically lay the groundwork for Meuller's illegitimacy, in that the SP IGNORES overt criminality (Comey/Hillary) re Russian collusion.
If Meuller shows his face and there is no Hillary/Comey in his findings - after months of the corruption table being set - Trump/Trump Nation will laugh him off that Stage. And the evidence of Meuller's partisan investigation will be so overt that an Investigation into the whole *Investigation* would be warranted.
Book it...Trump is a street fighter. We knew this is what it would take, and we were right. The Dem Party and their Deep State Bureaucrats a corrupt to the core. This Nation would be a de facto Banana Republic already had Hillary taken power.
I thank the Good Lord for that street-fighter, red-headed narcissist being at the helm; anything less would have been ground into pulp by now.
