I can't decide who is more pathetic. The few folks who are offended by this shirt or the tool who started this thread who is offended by the few folks offended by the shirt.

It's amazing how people constantly dictate to others that they should not be offended.

I'm offended by every post you make but you don't see me constantly bitching about it.

On the contrary, I rather enjoy watching these idiots continually make idiots of themselves, as well as pointing and laughing.

You however seem highly pissy. Thanks for your worthless input anyway, and have a great day!

@PhysicsHenry I am beyond pissed off. My kid was really interested in the landing but he came on & all she saw was how science isn't for her

If she honestly thought science wasn't for her because of that guy's shirt, then she's definitely right about that; it's not for her.

I'm not talking about the offensive nature or lack of offensive nature of the shirt. Let's just put that aside. I'm talking about the fact its obvious he wants people to look at his shirt. You don't wear something that loud thinking no one will focus on it. Whatever - not judging - nothing wrong with wanting people to look at your shirt - just sayin', its obvious that he's fine with people focusing on his shirt.

Actually, the shirt was designed by a friend of his, Elly Prizeman. She gave it to him for good luck. Sure, he still didn't have to wear it, but it would be kind of rude not to, especially considering the fact that he's known for wearing outlandish things and his colleagues don't seem to have a problem with it.

Feminists melt down over a shirt,

but a book and movie about "Fifty Shades of Grey" is OK.

He made a tearful apology.

The space scientist broke down in tears today and apologised for wearing a gaudy shirt which featured cartoon images of women wearing bondage gear and firing guns.

Goddamn outrage-locusts, man. They aren't funny if they can bully someone like this, at a time like this, for a reason like this. Although he probably isn't quite the boss I thought he was.

I can see why he was upset and even tearful. No, really. Think about it, this was the crowning moment of his career probably and the result of a ton of work by a lot of people and they made it work. Managing to pull this off without a hitch is mooning the laws of probability.

And most of the attention focuses on a lucky shirt he wore rather then all the hard work he and the team put into the project. He probably felt like he let down everyone else involved in the project. I can see why it ate away at the guy, he had no idea that something so amazing would be overshadowed by something so fricking trivial.

Frankly if he had shown up in his lucky banana hammock or had been dressed up as Big Bird I wouldn't care and it shouldn't detract from what they pulled off. If a female scientist had chosen to show up in a shirt decorated with male wangs who cares? They did something amazing, let them roll with it.

Eh, I do suppose that having to deal with this stupidity, right now of all times, would be exceptionally frustrating. Dude should be on top of the world.

The women on his shirt are depicted about the same as the Kim Kardahisans of the world present themselves.

What's the big damn deal?

Considering AOL has been trumpeting Kim showing her big ole butt as part of an internet stunt for the last week or so you would think feminists would have been up in arms about that.
