It's not foolish enough for the Dems to abandon Rule of Law/Equal Justice...but now they openly support violence which is exactly why Trump now leads in the polls. And worse, violence and the ultimate scenario therein (Authoritarian/Martial Law Rule) is likely the only way that any of the Deep State ('no intent') actors could ever be prosecuted. And worse, the pent up outrage on the Right and the open season vigilantism that will occur in conditions of societal anarchy. They dig their own graves with this kind of ludicrous strategy.
It has to be ego. Hell, Trump has spent TRILLIONS on bucking up the needy; they've got their 'socialism' in effect...but just have to push it.
