Schumer calls for ethics probe of Al Franken amid groping allegations

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., first called for the ethics probe, and encouraged Schumer to do the same.
“As with all credible allegations of sexual harassment or assault, I believe the Ethics Committee should review the matter,” McConnell said on Thursday. “I hope the Democratic Leader will join me on this. Regardless of party, harassment and assault are completely unacceptable –in the workplace or anywhere else.”

On the premise that the women are telling the truth (the only socially acceptable stance) then admitting fault is seen as the honorable thing.

They aren't rolling on Franken, they're trying to use the call for an ethics review on Franken as political leverage to continue the execution of Moore.

This #metoo seems like a lot of nothing. He kissed her during a skit that involved a kiss? I would think that would be expected. And in the picture he isn't even touching her so I really don't see what the big deal is, especially not to warrant an ethics probe. Geeze

you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. they already threw all they had at moore. no matter outcome, that's done. franken is a sitting senator. the entire establishment especially in the senate has made very public statements about moore...they're going to roll on franken to keep the credibility they think they have. (but obviously do not)
