Give us a synopsis of your post. You're the best aggie poster here, help us out. It sounds like an interesting topic.

Nah. I have too many good black friends to deal with segregation. We don't always like aspects of each other's culture but we appreciate each other's company, perspectives and experiences.
They're also smart as hell.

Looks like our country is moving right along with race issues. Keep it alive people. Good Lord.

I find it hilarious this guy is going to use an inflammatory idea like "bring back segregation" (which would not work out very well I might add).
Then, when you argue with him he says "I'm old enough to be your daddy. Stop calling me names and making fun of my ideas." It's like ¯\(°_o)/¯

This was just a ploy for Tbird to get more friends on Facebook.
It worked I sent him a friend request.
Just don't send me any invites to those gay A&M circle jerk parties.

That's equality.
You mean like the place where Thor lives? Idiot. You get so mad when a black person gets to have the same fantasy a white person does. I wonder why

I disagree with segregation.
But I wish the Feds didn't jump into a situation they didn't fully understand and push a forced busing policy that lead to the destruction of our inner city school systems. Good intentions doesn't mean there won't be unintended consequences.
No single government policy could have been as efficient at destroying inner city schools and exacerbating suburban sprawl if they actually tried. Nothing else but forced busing could have done that on such a large scale so quickly. Things like FHA loans and new freeways enabled sprawl, but they are not the root cause. Well intentioned but heavy handed federal policy on integration did.
We should have done more to preserve neighborhood school zones instead of shipping kids clear across cities to meet quotas.

The beginning read like two 19th century Englishmen having a misunderstanding.
Seriously though, you are fighting the good fight.
