Didn't he laugh at the concept of Trump being President, and basically state there was no way it would happen "It was HER turn". So, if Trump winning is not possible, why the need to investigate?

This was my argument from the beginning. Doesn’t the current president have a duty to investigate someone like joe Biden if there is a chance he was doing nefarious things as VP and is now trying to run for the highest office in the world.
