WASHINGTON — The Democratic head of the House Intelligence Committee, Representative Adam B. Schiff of California, learned about the outlines of a C.I.A. officer’s concerns that President Trump had abused his power days before the officer filed a whistle-blower complaint, according to a spokesman and current and former American officials.
The early account by the future whistle-blower shows how determined he was to make known his allegations that Mr. Trump asked Ukraine’s government to interfere on his behalf in the 2020 election. It also explains how Mr. Schiff knew to press for the complaint when the Trump administration initially blocked lawmakers from seeing it.
Before going to Congress, the C.I.A. officer had a colleague convey his accusations to the agency’s top lawyer. Concerned about how that avenue for airing his allegations was unfolding, the officer then approached a House Intelligence Committee aide, alerting him to the accusation against Mr. Trump. In both cases, the original accusation was vague.
The House staff member, following the committee’s procedures, suggested the officer find a lawyer to advise him and file a whistle-blower complaint. The aide shared some of what the officer conveyed to Mr. Schiff. The aide did not share the whistle-blower’s identity with Mr. Schiff, an official said.
So the partisan aide told the male to-be WB to go see a partisan political hack attorney and draft up a hit piece based on pure hearsay.
No doubt that attorney had ties to Atkinson.

This story is about to fall apart completely. Schiff is now 100% implicated in this hoax now

Schiff caught lying about when he knew. His texts tell the story. He should be in bi trouble

Obviously from first reading it was professionally framed and constructed. With the right amount of ambiguity, the correct number of here say witnesses and always here say so as not to back the Blower into a legal corner. And Schiffless was always right at the top. Then he got in front of the House and read a totally false version into the record. And now they want to remove the POTUS over this garbage? Sciffless is a yo yo on top of a liar. His lying on the record was unnecessary and revealed his judgement. All this is a smear.

So basically Schiff was using the WB system against a political enemy?
Any chance Schiff is involved in the rule change to allow hear say?

schiff has been playing these games since the russia collusion hoax
flew too close to the sun
flew too close to the sun

Evidently, just reported by Dana Petrino, the WB first told the story to one of Schiff’s aids. They then told them to Officially write up the complaint. Schiff was orchestrating this from the beginning like most thought
Remember Schiff sent a Staffer to Ukraine back in mid August. Why is a house rep from California sending staffers to Ukraine??

No wonder Pelosi was URGENT with her presser. What else will come out when this falls apart further?

So the WB is a legit, real person?

Yes, but indirectly. My bet is that the staffer referred the WB to DC dim hack attorney with ties to Atkinson because he realized that the form was going to be a major roadblock.

The standard procedure is to report directly to the IG, this was a Political hit
Posted on 10/2/19 at 1:24 pm to CamdenTiger
He needs to be taken out, tarred and feathered, and hung. He is an enemy of America.
Posted on 10/2/19 at 1:24 pm to CamdenTiger
Gee, WHO could have possibly have guessed that?

@CBSNews
Schiff says any actions from the White House to "stonewall' the impeachment inquiry "will be considered further evidence of obstruction of justice"
@HeyTammyBruce
This fits in perfectly with the Democrat declaration during the Kavanagh hearing that he was presumed guilty. Now Democrats are telling us that defending oneself from baseless accusations is “obstruction of justice.” Got it.

Seriously though...
Shouldn't it have been incumbent on the Honorable Mr. Schiff to disclose that he had this foreknowledge of the complaint before receiving the IG's report?
Also, his office gave legal advice to the WB. Why was this not disclosed at the hearing?
He kept insinuating this information was held secret from him, while he had knowledge of it all along.
I wonder why. I also wonder if Nancy Pelosi had knowledge of this and, if not, is she concerned that one of her top deputies was withholding important details of the developments from her.

Looks as if this is normal procedure... BUT! if Schiff lied about knowing about it or anything along the way then those are grounds for impeachment for him.
