We have nothing remotely close to this. The government and globalist pick the winners and losers through legislation and regulation.

Try again.

transition into the future of energy

The future has always been brought about by new discoveries, not central planning. Leftists are putting the cart before the horse. They’re saying “here’s the future we want, now somebody go out and invent the exact things we need to get there using only today’s technology and no possibility to profit from it”.

I hope and pray this day the Lord will again open your eyes and your heart to what is before us all. Isaiah the prophet.

I don't agree that the SLOW transition from oil based economy to renewable will be disruptive or lead to what you are saying in anyway.

You think this is "slow"? No more coal power (in the U.S., it's fine everywhere else). No more domestic drilling. Telling everyone to get EVs now when there are enough in the pipeline for maybe 3, 4% of drivers, at most?

quote:

I think that's ludicrous and so shortsighted and an imbalanced view.

"Shortsighted" is pretending the technology exists in the near term to even pay back the costs for "renewable" (which is a myth anyway - turbines wear out, solar panels wear out and they get made with petroleum power and petroleum products).

If done right this could actually lead to unparalleled iberty.

Your faith in unproven and currently unscalable tech that is literally in its infancy is admirable, bordering on the religious.

But that's the thing, will it be done right?

Maybe the only smart thing you said in the thread, other than Biden is an idiot and these policies are stupid. I wonder how long you will stick with these stupid policies, then.

Eventually the market, like water, finds a way.
You can't mandate your way into new technology.

Microchips, rare earth mineral mines, rare earth mineral processing, solar panel manufacturing, wind turbine manufacturing, wind turbine installation, etc. that support “Green Energy” are all primarily controlled by the ChiComs.

“Green Energy” is simply a way to destroy our energy independence, destroy our economy, make us further dependent on China, and funnel billions of dollars to the ChiComs. Eventually, the ChiComs will be able to flip a switch and shut the power off in the USA.

In short, this is the Big Guy is paying back his handlers/benefactors.

I know exactly what's before us spiritually as I am a prophet. But geopolitically that's anyone's guess. I can say God was not pleased with the delusion that some who claim to be his people operated in when they ordained trump as the new king David of America, and this is coming from someone who agrees with the majority of trump's policy.

You just nailed the crux of the latest administration and all those that support it. That is exactly what they are doing.

You should know Biden didn't mean you can't make a profit off of oil. He was obviously stating your profit margin should be a lil smaller. The dude is 80 something years old man, he's not all there.

Brilliant!

Yeah! Let's transition from oil to electricity powered by ... wait4it ... COAL!

How about this instead.
Transition to """clean""" energy plants FIRST.
Build enough of them to power our infrastructure so we no longer have to contend with brownouts.
Assemble rapid recharge stations throughout the country in public-private cooperation.
Incent advancement in battery technology to roughly 2X current capacity.

THEN consider transitioning the auto industry from gas to a cleaner resource.

That is most of them unfortunately, the left did a great job brainwashing the masses. We didn't really know how bad it was until Trump came along and exposed all the networks as having being bought by government. I mean until Trump I somewhat believed what I saw on the news. Now I can't even watch local news without blood boiling at their biased political views.

And for you guys to try and say I'm wrong about or somehow untrue to conservative principles simply because I'm being reasonable and know what Biden meant when he said that?.... That just proves the Spirit you operate in. It's not one of wisdom or balance and just judgment, it's a wordly spirit. May you break free from all delusion and see things in a balanced and true mind frame. God bless
