It is actually very interesting.

Spirituality and religiosity in general are advantageous traits for Homo sapiens. They confer selective advantage over our secular counterparts. It allows our species to live in larger more collaborative groups.

Gotta be a rock for my wife & two kids. My wife (no pics) is amazing in how she has worked with me in raising our boys (15 & 10) in as normal a manner as possible with the world as screwed up as it is now. Current times are truly a global assault of good vs evil. Sorry, needed to vent & hoping to hear from some of you. I'm not scared to die at all. In fact there's a small part of me that's ready to leave this world behind but not until I spend every last breath to do all I can for my family & their future. I'm scared to death for my son's futures in the world. Faith, family, friends, & a lot of you on this board help me keep on keeping on!

You’re not alone….there’s millions of Believers who are praying for clarity on what the Creator wants us to do. Fight tyranny or submit? I know our instincts are to fight until death against the evil of tyranny but there have been instances in history when God allowed His people to be ruled by the unbelievers as punishment for turning away from the Light.

We are leaves in the wind of monumental change, bd; if said 'change' goes according to Biblical Prophecy, then the relative pittance of time suffering as measured against an eternity of "life and life more abundantly" won't even matter. Of course, talking about a kidney stone, and being the throes of battling one, is not cake. Re fearing death, Paul nailed it: "to live is Christ (Love), to die is gain". The real test - or opportunity - is here, in the ugly Worldly mess that you rightly assess.

Suffering ENHANCES one's ability to feel love, respect, concern/caring, empathy and compassion for other's who experience suffering. Before or after us. Those personal characteristics are essential if one is "to rule with Christ", and they are not acquired by reading books or watching tv. But by real life experience.

We are apt to change in ways that we cannot even imagine; there are ways of feeling and perception that few have experienced. I know this as fact, from my 'old days'. The sky is the limit. It is likely that "the Rapture" may be a profound and fundamental perceptive change that we will be forced into, so don't make the misjudgment of thinking that you will be in your current state of mind, when the big stuff hits home. You may surprise yourself, and be a blessing and comfort to your own, and many. Faith will be worth more than bullets and gold in that day.

Eternity is a long time. Change is the vehicle which rides us along the way, to greater forms of vision. Old bottles won't do new wine it's due. You know what Jesus said about "he that seeks to save himself, shall lose...". Embrace the change, instead of fighting to uphold it. This said, "embracing" may mean shedding blood in defense of God's Children. As a 'disciple' of Jesus, you don't have to worry about your imperfections (sin) or uncontrolled reactions, butg more about the good that you can accomplish. The sins of an imperfect intellect, intent and will, will be washed away in the Blood of your Savior; and the good you do will be tallied toward your next life.

Adventure gets no bigger than the one we are witnessing, and personally acting in. Live it, and love ALL experience that makes you an infinitely unique Child of God (Love).

See you in the Game, sooner or later. God speed, Brother.

Spiritual warfare. It’s a thing. Even non- believers sense it. Many, many more people have moved toward the darkness, however you define that.

Funny, because the social science is clear on this, that those who practice an organized religion are significantly less fearful and anxious than those who don’t . But yeah, living in fear is an absolute waste . We are compelled to be courageous, it’s a responsibility.

I would wager 40-50% of progressives are using anxiety meds of some type, particularly progressives under 45.

So terrible and screwed up, yes.

Young Americans who lived during the Civil War, World War 1/2, and Vietnam… must have been like sitting around eating cupcakes all day.

Very true, BT. And given the immense power of what we are fighting against, without the REQUESTED and APPROVED invitation and intervention of Our Lord in particular instances, we would likely "slip into the dark" of deception and self-delusion.

Miracles happen; of course, they will be rationally perceived as mere and highly 'coincidental' by Worldly folk. There will always be a perfect Worldly rationale. I've personally experienced two really questionably, scientifically irrational (think Laws of Physics) events in the last three weeks. Not important that I define the details, as that might dox me. The "Born Again" will see plenty of 'miracles', and the unbelievers won't care and should not be swayed by such anyway.

This has always been a good vs evil. Was never about Democrat vs Republican. Those evil fricks sold our country! They screwed every American by divide and conquer! This is China wanting to take down the USA and payed off anybody and everybody they had to to do it. This has been developing for 15 plus years now.

Well he isn’t going to save you for sure with that attitude towards him.

If you’d accept him as Jesus Christ our Savior and seek him he most definitely will save you.

I pray you do that but if you keep talking like that then yes you are doomed.

Amen and Hallelujah! Power in the blood!

Told the story the other day of a random guy stopping me to tell me that 17 years ago Jesus took away his drug addiction completely. The guy was so free and redeemed, that he couldn't help but tell people. He even went on to say, " people tell me that once you're addicted that you're always an addict. I tell em that they must not know my Jesus." As simple as he said it, it was profound. I'll never forget it.

Save us Jesus!

Our souls? Yes.

Our world? I've accepted that these are the times when it is no longer His will to save it.

Everywhere you look, evil is winning. This world belongs to Satan. In the end, we all know how it ends for him, but right now he's running roughshod over the entire globe laughing and stroking his dick along the way.

The prophesied "great turning away" is happening. We're living in it, man. I saw the signs years ago but for the last two years I've only finally begun to accept it.

This is not the end of the beginning. It's not the beginning of the end. We're in the advanced stages of the great fall right now, precariously balanced on the very edge of a razor. The only way down is to fall. Hard.

I've made my peace with it. If I must die for my belief in GOD, as foretold, I will make my end worthy of remembrance.

Jesus Christ demanded the church to fear not!
It is said in many ways using different words in the Bible.
Christ says do not fear for I am with you. That’s his only reason “I am with you”. If Jesus is with us it doesn’t matter who’s against us!
When fear knocks at the door send faith to answer and no one will be there!
