Your point is irrelevant. It doesn't matter how many religions a symbol encompasses, only that it is a religious symbol.
It cannot be the symbol of a religion.
It can certainly be a religious "symbol."
The word "God" is a religious "symbol."

No. They are a symbol of legal heritage. If you'd like to assert that Hammurabi's Code should be there, you'd have some standing. The Satanist thing is off point and silly.
Maybe next to the ten commandments they can have pagan/Satanist sayings like 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.' That seems more pertinent, does it not?

Some if the commandments are not modern laws in the USA. So it's clearly a religious thing.
Not true. Courts have upheld the Ten Commandments in Courtrooms when they were displayed next to Hammurabi's Code and the Magna Carter because it placed the document in context.
I'm not sure what else is out there in OK.

The funny part is that no one actually gives a shite. It's the same deal when Dems dislike something or raise hell simply because what they dislike and/or are raising hell about is opposite of what they believe.
I don't give a shite about who puts what up or where they put it. It's petty when one group gets all pissy because it's "nawt fayer day dey get to put something up and I don't, whaaaaaaa".
Christians would do the same if Satanists had whatever the hell their signature symbol is somewhere public.
All these "beliefs" aren't even rooted in pure motives any more. People just want to pick a side on something and argue about it. It's all a political statement that "my beliefs are better than yours". It's annoying.

If our current laws had its origins in Anton Lavey's Satanic bible, but they don't.

If our current law had its origins in the Ten Commandments you might have a point, but they don't

Save 7 more pages of the typical back and forth this always produces and post a link proving America was not founded on Christianity principles. Then the other person will post a link with founding fathers quotes saying it was. And it will continue back and forth until someone calls the other one a name.
There all done. Change of subject, now.

Ours laws were derived and motivated by many sources. The Ten Commandments are one. That's why they are promenantly displayed in architecture in Washington D.C. Or is that simply coincidental?

I'm not sure,
Don't you have to believe in
the devil to believe in God?
If so, Why not honor the evil that
God willingly lets exist?

You are free to honor whatever you want but it has nothing to do with this OP.

I'm saying clearly that you also believe in the devil.
Therefore you shouldn't be against this monument to something
so important to your religion.

I also believe in rocks and trees but they have no bearing on my Christian beliefs. Stop being so stupid.

What a non sequiter!
Let me get this straight,
you believe in the devil and don't want him to
get a statue? Wow.
Could you please justify why you don't want a
statue for this deity you believe in?

If the contents of the Bible are real and our laws were based of of those contents, then we should certainly honor Satan, as he is the only hero from the Bible. It was Satan who showed Adam & Eve the knowledge of good and evil-- he taught critical thinking to naked, willful thought-slaves, it was Satan who offered food for forty days to a starving man in the desert, Satan understands human nature and doesn't judge you for being a human, Satan accepts God's unwanted children unconditionally, it is Satan who actually punishes the evil doers, and it is Satan who hasn't had countless millions slaughtered in his name.

I don't want a statue or image of God, Christ or the devil because I don't believe in idols. Any other dumb questions?
