Yes, but America is a nation under God.
We were also a nation under slavery! Which is a coinkindink since the Bible was used as justification for slavery. Therefore, using your reasoning, we are a nation under God and should be a nation under slavery!

Careful...you could pull a hammy with a leap like that.

You stated that Christianity couldn't change, I just showed a concrete example of it changing for the better.

No. We are a nation under God, at least according to the nation. Slavery was an unfortunate occurrence this nation under God ridded itself of. The process of that riddance led us to recognize on our coinage that it is "In God we trust".

Thank you for volunteering to us that you are an idiot with no understanding of the Bible.

Doesn't that same language also appear in the ACA, page 12,765, in the Medical Provider Compensation Section?

Yes it is. But we're getting further and further away all the time.

No one is forced to believe or practice Christianity, but it is the belief that this country was founded on.

Have religious organizations move faith-based displays from government property to new locations. Have events promoting the moves and ceremonies for grand openings to promote faith.

The above would do more to draw attention to religious and faith-based movements than having old monuments ignored on government property.

Plus, it would fully support the separation of church and state. When government and religion combine, religion becomes corrupted. Faith-based people are supposed to keep government healthy and in-check with their votes and with the way they live their lives.

I always find it interesting and somewhat frightening, how the meek and mild Christian, will insult an unbeliever in the most vile manner with no qualms at all. Just always an interesting little tid bit. Then there is always the old, passive-aggressive Christian thought process of, "I love you, and I don't judge you, but if you disagree with me, my god will send you to hell to be tortured for all of eternity"

But anyway, where does the Bible condemn slavery? Or does it not condemn it because man's morality had not evolved passed that yet?

Even though southerners used God to try to justify slavery.

I always find it interesting that you resort to this argument when you lose the debate. You continue to show your lack of intellect.

Correct.
Just as you attempt to do in the antithesis by denying aspects of western legal heritage.

I find it interesting that you always feel the need to champion yourself the "winner" of the "debate" anytime you and I post in the same thread. Your insecurity flies off of the page.
