Sally Yates told lawmakers former FBI Director James Comey went rogue yesterday

I'm beginning to strongly believe that Comey is now working with the Feds in the Durham Investigation because he is being fed to the wolves right now by his "friends" in an attempt to discredit him.
"WASHINGTON, D.C. – Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, who served in the upper ranks of the Justice Department during the FBI’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, told lawmakers former FBI Director James Comey went rogue when he “unilaterally” dispatched agents to interview former national security adviser Michael Flynn at the White House in the early days of the Trump administration, according to a report from CBS News."
Yates, in an exchange with Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham during a hearing on the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation, was asked whether she authorized the FBI’s January 24, 2017, interview of Flynn.
“I didn’t authorize that interview because I wasn’t told about it in advance,” Yates said.
Yates said that when she heard about the FBI’s interview with Flynn, “I was upset that Director Comey didn’t coordinate this with us and acted unilaterally.” Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, asked whether Comey went “rogue” with sending agents to speak with Flynn, and Yates responded, “You could use that term, yes.”"

The redacted names in the FBI emails are Comey, McCabe and Lynch IMHO

Comey doesn’t seem that smart. But then again, he was good enough at politics to become the director.

Should be interesting now in the Flynn case before the DC Circuit, in addition to all the other bullshite, the DAG at the time, just testified under oath that the FBI director was acting on a rogue operation to set up Flynn.

Comey is a classic example of a someone who looks good, talks a good game and believes himself to be superior but is actually self delusional. He has been bull sh*tting political gamesmanship his entire career, relying on external factors but now he's been caught by the people who really are that smart and really do know what it means to be honest, moral and ethical. While it would be great for Comey to serve time, it would be better for the Clintons and Obama to have their legacies and wealth to be turned to garbage, which is what they are. Comey is a worm and he will turn on them if backed into a corner.

I do know Comey plays CYA. That’s why he leaked the Clinton investigation and played fast and loose with Trump and Flynn.
