I get taking Taiwan is similar to Russia and Ukraine but China present many other threats i think.

As far as we know, Taiwan is quite the opposite of a globalist money laundering State neck deep in child trafficking and exploitation. And what they manufacture in Taiwan is overall much more valuable to a world that has increasingly built a reliance upon technology. Still, what you said is true, that there are certainly baseline similarities. Russia wants Ukraine to be remade into the old Russian empire, while China wants Taiwan reabsorbed into the modern Chinese Empire.

As far as Russia goes, it is always important to point out that Vladimir Putin is a KGB thug. He's a nationalistic leader to his people who wants to see Russia returned to its former glory, but he's KGB nonetheless and you always keep two eyes on people like him.

China though, as you said, certainly does pose greater threats at this juncture in time. Just look at everywhere they're spreading their influence on the world, and the results. Africa and Panama immediately come to mind. They've never shyed away from openly professing their Maoist goal of ruling the world with absolution.

What are you, 12 years old?

Can you discuss this like an adult?
Perhaps that will occur when the OP returns to the thread, and addresses any "valid points" he feels this blithering imbecile, Jeffrey Sachs, made.

hysteria/paranoia over China
Does China force slaves and children to make their products and then they sell those products here? Yes or No. If yes, are you good with them doing so? Yes or no.

That’s because you’re dumb. A country and government is only successful when it’s citizens have liberty, freedom, and rights that the government is not allowed to trample.

We need to compete better with China. Not make up lies and cry about their success. That type of behavior is for losers

The fact that the government tramples rights and dismisses the Constitution in this country says absolutely nothing about the fact that there are no individual rights and Constitution in Communist China, dingus.

It's much easier path to success when the freedoms, liberties, and well-being of your citizens are not a consideration, but no person who enjoys what few freedoms and liberties we have left in this country should ever entertain the idea that Communist China is any kind of success, knowing just a little about what the Communist Chinese government does to its citizens. You have a brain, dingus. Use it.
