I think it's not crazy, but calculated. They KNOW no one in the MSM will call them on it, and they KNOW that the narrative will therefore get digested by the masses of ill-informed voters via the Twitterverse.

Dossier is bullshite. It can’t be proven, so now the standard in the more unprofessional media outlets is that it’s presumed true until someone can prove that it didn’t happen.
Obama is a pedophile. Let’s not try to prove that this is true. We’ll just presume this is true since it can’t be disproven.
