I have zero sympathy for Russia. I'm merely stating facts of war.

very weak attempts at justification
Yep, 30 years of warning against NATO expansion is pretty much nothing. Pushing NATO to their borders on every side... totally weak justification. Meddling in elections and setting up coups in their neighboring states and suggesting that we do so(and probably already attempting to) inside of Russia too... Weak sauce. Tearing up nuclear and ballistic missile treaties left and right as we plant 'defensive' weapons on their door step is also nothing. They should just ignore the fact that those 'defensive' weapons can also shoot nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.
Before you refer to your talking points and call me a Russian apologist, I don't support what Putin has done. I also don't support our own recent and historical role in setting up this chess board. I can see why Putin and Russians see NATO expansion, meddling in neighbors politics to make them less friendly to Russia and plunking dual-use weapons pointing at them might be provacative, to say the least.

That’s all perfectly fine. Still doesn’t justify their invasion or use of force. And I don’t think you’re a ‘Putin apologist’. I just think the prevailing wind here is to defer to the Russian point of view because the Western media cannot be trusted. That’s the media’s fault.
Russia wanted to do this forcefully to send a message, so that is what they did. They did not “have” to do it that way.

I can understand their reasoning. Russia seems to be trying to keep the deaths down on both sides . So other countries sending weapons to Ukraine will cause more deaths .

That isn’t their reasoning. The reasoning is that the weapons are helping Ukraine’s armed forces and Russia is going to prevent that to the extent possible.
Russia does not, and never has cared about casualties.

With the sterling leadership of the Turnip I wouldn't be that confident. The stupid fricker gave Iran a handy the other day after attacking us in Iraq.
You kidding? The uniparty would be creaming their panties for an excuse to oil up and deploy the MIC into Ukraine. We all know that Trump exposed Ukraine as naught more than a massive money laundering state for the globalist uniparty. They'll welcome any excuse to send our sons and daughters to die over there on potato farming soil.
They've probably already got a false flag or two planned to bring about NATO involvement.
There are three things the establishment absolutely loves:
Money.
Power.
War.

Poor mighty Russian Army, forced to use captured weapons since the Chinese won't resupply them after three weeks of a special military operation. How fricked up is that military.

The people cheering the loudest for WWIII to start are all the last to volunteer to stand up to fight. Not one politician or blue check on Twitter will fight but they will sure send your sons to die.

Since when do parties at war just allow the other side to resupply
Pretty sure it's in the war 101 handbook
I think a lot of Americans live in this make believe world where wars take place in a designated battlefield and both sides should be able to call timeout to resupply. We should also throw referees in to make the hard decisions on right or wrong
It's fricking war dipshits. This is why we make such a big deal over foreign policy and not what some mentally disturbed he/she wants to be called

How much has NATO expanded since 1990? 14 or 15 countries on the Russian border. See any Russian bases in Canada, Cuba, or Mexico?
This is what they were told -

Washington D.C., December 12, 2017 – U.S. Secretary of State James Baker’s famous “not one inch eastward” assurance about NATO expansion in his meeting with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on February 9, 1990, was part of a cascade of assurances about Soviet security given by Western leaders to Gorbachev and other Soviet officials throughout the process of German unification in 1990 and on into 1991, according to declassified U.S., Soviet, German, British and French documents posted today by the National Security Archive at George Washington University

This is why I’m convinced shite will escalate eventually. Ukraine ain’t quitting. We will keep sending weapons. Russia will get tired of that and start parking Hinds at the Polish border. Putin is getting desperate and getting serious Hitler madman vibes. Kremlin needs a cruise missile.

I’m well aware of what Gorbachev was told.
That still does not justify armed invasion. The last country to join NATO that borders Russian territory did so in 2004. So spare me that excuse.
They wanted to bring Ukraine to heel and batter them into accepting a pro-Russian government.
