I don’t have much more faith in the FBI than I do in the Kremlin at this point. It’s a tough situation.

And yet you reflexively believe our intelligence agencies, who lied about Vietnam, lied about Iraq, want to engage Iran in a pre-emptive war, have murdered hundreds of thousands of civilians in the Middle East, assassinated multiple democratically elected rulers, effectuated dozens of anti-democratic coups around the world, all in the name of profit and American Empire. Well they still have never presented any evidence that the Russians did do it.
The DNC refused to hand over the servers to the FBI so I don't know how the Justice Dept could possible know whether or not the Russians hacked them.

Can you describe in very precise terms what constitutes “meddling in an election”? Further, can you provide specific, verifiable examples of the Russian government (or clandestine agents thereof) performing those acts?
Lastly, once you have answered the previous questions, does the Russian “meddling” solely involve actions that some 14 year old redditor could have accomplished from his parents basement, no matter where he was geographically located? (I.e, peddle Facebook fake news articles and troll memes to low information voters)

I don’t tend to believe justice department hacks who are supposed to be politically neutral in the execution of their job duties when time and time again they roll out press conferences with timing that appears highly and coincidentally politically motivated.
