Just heard Kudlow speaking to some general that not only was Russia behind the pipeline attack, but that they are ultimately behind groups like Hamas lobbing these rockets into Israel. Whether he’s right or not, I don’t know, I lean towards his being right. But my question is, if they are the ones who ultimately unleash their dawgs onto Israel, what is the motivation?

Are they simply testing the US? Are they probing ole Joe’s allegiance or lack there of? Are is there other reasons?

That's Hezbollah. Hamas is a Sunni group.

Russia has far more to gain in being friendly with Israel than it does by supporting Hamas. Not saying they don't do both, but Israel and Moscow have cozied up significantly in recent years, and large percentages of Israeli citizens in northern cities like Haifa are former soviets.

Not to mention that Russia has its own domestic problems with islamic extremism. I don't think they are the party funneling weapons to Hamas/Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Unlikely Russia has anything to do with the current Middle East conflict, Iran gives the orders to Hamas. This is likely the response for Israel blacking out the Iranian nuclear facility last month.

quote:

From Putin’s perspective, Moscow must involve itself in the Palestinian cause in order to further facilitate Russia’s “return” to the region. In practice, this has entailed Moscow and Hamas improving their relations, underscored by numerous visits and communications between high-ranking Russian government officials and Hamas representatives in recent years.

Although Putin’s government maintains close relations with Israel, Moscow and Tel Aviv have never seen eye-to-eye on Palestinian-related issues. Russia’s rapprochement with Hamas has irked Israel and the U.S., both of which accuse the Kremlin of legitimizing a “terrorist” organization. This development has also upset the Palestinian Authority (PA), Hamas’ main Palestinian rival.

The Israelis were expelling Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem.

Ethnic cleansing.

That’s why Hamas is reacting.

Hamas is funded by various anti Semitic and liberal organizations. They are armed by every one from the US to China to Russia and everyone else that runs arms on the open market.

Israel and Palestine have been at each others neck every since the Ottoman Empire crumbled and lines were redrawn on a map.

Don’t know- but If that’s true, when the Palestinian refugees start screaming “humanitarian crisis!!”, I hope the Russians would be willing to take them in.

Don’t think I’ll hold my breath. The stupid Dims will do all they can to ship them here- with zero vetting, of course.

The U.S. needs to stay out of this mess and let Israel and the Palestinians solve it. JMHO

Not sure but the timing of this and the high increase in refugee #s announcement makes worried how many of those worthless people are going to get dumped on us.
