He’s loyal to Trump. So he’ll keep getting the opportunities.
But the lines get blurred between US govt. business and Trump’s personal interests. Using people who are operating outside of the President’s cabinet is kind of uncharted territory.

In my opinion, he resigned so that he wouldn’t have to testify as an official and can now ignore them and claim his conversations were under Presidential Priviledge and avoid outing himself as a leaking piece of shite.....because Barr is going to start charging leakers as spy’s, which is treason

If the info is classified, then it could be perceived to be a spy-type operation. Regardless the intent is to cause harm to the prez and/or his agenda. Leaks of phone calls with foreign presidents is unprecedented and should have a penalty up to and including life in prison, maybe at Gitmo with guys from ISIS.
