He's going to win b/c he represents the moral concerns of the average Alabamian. This is what happens when you have a politician that LISTENS to the will of his people and gets it. Even if his WHOLE thing is a sham, Alabamians buy in. Because he knows what Alabama wants.
And he won't compromise. Alabamians (indeed most southern states) identify with not compromising what you believe in.
I don't think it has much to do with Trump, but of course it IS good timing that Trump made being a firebrand that will stick by what he says in his campaign a highly marketable position.
