Roy Moore announces 12 testimonials from women affirming his character

"The Roy Moore campaign late Wednesday afternoon released testimonials from 12 women, including Moore's sister-in-law and former receptionist, that speak to the quality of his character.
The statement from the campaign described the women "who are coming forward as character witnesses for Roy Moore."
What follows in the statement are brief testimonials from the women, each one paragraph long.
Many of the statements are from women in Moore's home county of Etowah in northeast Alabama. Gadsden is the largest city in the county and Moore and his wife, Kayla, live in the small town of Gallant in rural Etowah County"

No kidding, I know the son of one of the women. Ironically enough, he was expelled from college for sexual assault.

"But what about all the women I haven't assaulted?"

On a serious note, these women will probably get harshly slammed by media, which will be ridiculous in a story that centers on taking advantage of women

sexual assault is a cultural thing on campus anymore - most colleges are operating on a "guilty until proven innocent" basis

I'm reasonably sure I could get more than 12 women to say I didn't assault them.

Is frowning upon someone breaking into multiple girls' dorm rooms in the middle of the night and getting in their beds a cultural thing?
Anyway, no need to go down that rabbit hole. It has nothing to do with this story. Just thought it was an interesting sidenote.

is that what the kid did?
pretty ballsy - if he did that and was not welcomed by the girls he should be in jail
and no, I am not willing to blindly defend some kid I don't know over circumstances I know zero about
read Mike Adams on TownHall.com - he graduated from MS State & teaches at UNC Wilmington
won a SCOTUS case over being denied tenure & promotions because of his political views
he has done some really good work outlining how mere accusations can and do sink young men in college
it's sad because it hurts actual victims
a real rapist needs to be punished
a guy that screws a girl that got drunk & willingly got in his bed is not a criminal
we can go down this line if you want in another thread (the perpetual victimhood on college campuses, or is it campi?)
but I apologize for coming off like I was defending the kid, because I wasn't

Liberals calling women whores in the middle of a Republican sex abuse scandal at the height of a progressive feminism revival is just about as American as it gets

Lots of hypocrisy going on. That's for damn sure.

in alabama it is not pedophilia if it can be proven to be incest. he was attracted to girls that looked like family!
