Im a huge Trumpster, and even I heard that statement and rolled my eyes. You have had two years of misery with an AG and you are so unconcerned you appoint someone you dont even know?
Im giving him the benefit of the doubt that he doesnt know him personally, only limited professional contact, but that would sound a lot better than "I dont even know the guy" which is exactly what he said.

Appointing someone like Whitaker is just another example of filling up the swamp with shady characters. The man is a crook and is not Constitutionally qualified to head an executive department. He'll be gone soon enough.
