Questioning the government and not being okay with the status quo is okay as long as you stop every once in a while to count your blessings and realize how fortunate you are.

The government didn’t create those blessings, though. Our fortune was created by having restrained the government and deferring to individualism.

Once a government no longer respects the sovereignty of individuals, enforces the laws of civil society, and fails to redress the grievances of its citizens, rebellion is inevitable.

Its the inflation, dumbass... not the name calling.

The violence and anger are just to cover for government failures.

Which is exactly what happened the last time half the country started demonizing the other half.

I’d far prefer to find some alternative to that ever happening again but that will require some sort of actual meaningful being proposed whether decentralization or otherwise. Your preference for clinging to the status quo is just going to lead to the pot boiling over.

You also didn’t address the $60T debt in addition to the myriad of unfunded mandates in the context of more than 25% of all the USD ever printed being put into circulation in the last 6 years.

Fair enough!

The top 10% of industrious individuals have carried the rest.

News flash your government doesn’t give a shite about you and actively despises you. They see us as malleable sheep. COVID was their psychosocial experiment to test the waters of just how irrationally compliant and obedient we would be when scared, divided and gas lit. This was the test run.. the next one will be the real purge

Does "your government" mean a small core group sitting in a smoke-filled room, or does it mean thousands of bureaucrats and politicians? Who ARE these terrible people, exactly?

Who have no interest but self interest.

The only way to save the USA is to split. The Federal govt is much too large.

one group charts the course, the other steers the ship. They both have the same intentions

Are you shitting on separation of powers here and shitting on too much power not being vested in just one person, or did you just butcher the term" liberal democracy." It's definitely one or the other.
