Ron Paul is 100% correct here. The problem with PDJT is that he can't turn it off even if it's a minor disagreement (which I believe this was). We have to take PDJT's worst along with his best unfortunately.
Well said and I agree. Unfortunately his binary true believers can’t have minor disagreements or tolerate any criticism regardless of reasoning because they’re soft AF just like progressives.

These two propositions are not compatible:
1. “We had to do a CR that extends Biden spending levels to September because we don’t have 60 Republicans in the Senate.”
2. “We will pass conservative spending bills in September.” Because we still won’t have 60 Senate Republicans.

They don’t have 53 conservative republicans. Not even close.

This is the problem with libertarians. If it is not 100% their way they are against it. It is why the will never be president. They think they are the smartest person in the room at all times and if you argue with them they pout and take their ball home so nor one can play.
I like Ron, but he has the same my way or the highway approach he accuses Trump having, yet Trump is the only president who is putting his dream of shutting down numerous agencies in motion. The only one.
Now here is Massie. Massie and Paul will sit on a bucket of water with their arms crossed while the town burns but declare "I saved the water so we won't be dehydrated because that is very important to survival!"
Very short sided when the reality is if the Dems won, Paul would have been top on the list for the reeducation camps. The same people who attacked is son and daughter in law in public. By all means though tell me more about buying gold through you paid advertisement.
The insurgent class in DC laughs at people like you. "We must pass this bucket of shite now so we can stop passing buckets of shite later and to hell with those guys over there that want us to stop passing buckets of shite." These people play you like a fiddle.
I'm not a Libertarian but that party has morphed a lot since it's earliest days. Go watch Tom Woods and get back to us.
Trump doesn't get credit for shutting things down when his approach is going to lead to a blue tsunami.
Comparing objection to another CR that will fund Biden's agenda to sitting on a bucket of water during a fire is infantile. That CR is the fire and it should be snuffed out, not given new life.
Because Democrats are huge POS, Paul and Massie have to now go along with funding Biden's agenda, again, via CR, rather than insist on regular order, 12 spending bills, adherence to the Constitution, and dealing with the debt and deficit like adults? This is as stupid as the morons that say "Is this the hill to die on?" regarding the objections to cracking down on free speech because it upsets Israel.
Massie is right. Ron Paul is right. Put pressure on Trump to stand with them, rather than throw tantrums against them.

No, don't you see? The way to get rid of unconstitutional spending is to pass a CR that continues spending. It's 4²D backgammon.

In the larger scheme of things, this is a tempest in teapot. Massie has butted heads with Trump before and they have patched things up…

Yet Trump is doing himself no favors by magnifying this issue. Though many MAGA faithful may disagree with Massie on particular issues, they respect the man.

You could be completely correct on principle but still have no practical way to implement that principle.

Well thats special. Birds of a feather. Other than getting elected what has Ron Paul done to help the average America?

Of the 620 bills that Paul had sponsored over a period of more than 22 years in Congress, only one had been signed into law—a lifetime success rate of less than 0.3%

Ron Paul is an amazing man.
He and Trump are about as far apart politically and philisophically as imaginable.
