St. Elmo invitations go out to seniors who excel scholastically, are high achievers and show evidence of serious potential and focus on an outstanding career. DeSantis does fit the St. Elmo profile. That's actually a good thing.
Contrast that with the Kennedy's who were all party animals, got their Ivy league acceptances and diplomas because their rich daddy was connected.
