Was there any doubt?

He's a demonstrably solid executive.

Just not a great campaigner.

They aren't the same skill set.

I don’t think many people would dispute he’s a good governor.

Can you explain what this means, other than also being a GOP governor of Florida?

Good at what exactly. Spell it out.

Thats what i asked the first time and so far the only responses have been OMB and a trust me bro.

GIVE ME A REASON. Everyone just blindly sucks off whoever they cheer for and im having none of it. If that bothers you, then just say so.

Empty platitudes are empty

It’s hilarious MAGA thinks they are alphas by supporting fake tough guy Don.

Which one is the silver spoon fed NY billionaire and which one served with the Seals in a war zone?

Good at leading. Especially during crisis.

I thought you were smart enough to figure it out.

im having none of it.

We’re your hands on your hips when you typed that? Kidding. Had an old teacher back in the day who would put her hands on her hips and say we aren’t having any of that right now when she got frustrated by our behavior.

You have to be like Trump and alienate everyone who isn't lock step in agreement with your agenda

Come on Lou, Jeb stood behind him once...The audacity for Ron to allow that to happen. He should have stated he didn't want anyone that still supports Jeb to vote for him and then cried fraud after he lost. That is how real MAGAs govern.

Any examples of how he's leading?

Florida has had the best hurricane response procedures in place for atleast 2 decades. Its never really mattered who was gov.

Thats not a knock on Desantis, but as someone who lived there long ago, Florida having a good storm response is par for the course. But if there is something specific hes doing, im open to hearing about it.

They had 40,000 Lineman staged just outside the hurricane zone and every type of first responder imaginable. They had all the bridges cleared and operational within 24 hours. They had power restored to over 450,000 of the 550,000 who lost power within 24 hours. Basically they got hit with a nearly Cat 4 Hurricane and for all but the hardest hit areas they will be back to normal by the weekend. The level of detailed response almost certainly resulted in lives saved as well.

DeSantis basically spent the last few days on the phone or on TV relaying information 20 hours a day and put all politics aside in doing so. Even the Dems with the MSM and actual Dems were blown away by his responsiveness.

Other than that though not much.

This one hit close to home huh. Tell you what, if you ask your wife nicely, I bet she will let you sneak in a hard seltzer after you get your chores done

Yes, you are.

You can pretend that you're just looking for information or that you're neutral here, but no one will buy it.

Thank you for actually answering my original question. I don’t watch MSM so I didn’t have any of that context, and even if all he did was communicate effectively im good with the answer.

It wasn’t a trick question. I just tend to expect more substance than a platitude in an OP. Like may as well go start a thread on tRant that Harold Perkins is good at football.
