Without a complete investigation there would be optics issues that would have never disproven muh Russia AND the DEMs would have just done it again when Trump was out of office, as the first investigation wouldn't have been proper.

Vindication of Trump required a total investigation to avoid this. Anything less would not have closed the door on the Insanity.

I can - sorta - understand your penchant for taking the most advantageous stance possible to keep your protectee out of jail.
