Nothing more than that.

He’s a has been nobody chilling on the ash heap of history.

I guarantee you there will be elections in Louisiana in the next decade where he will google them and say to himself “I’ll whoop that MF”

GOP voters like YOU cross over and vote democrat or stay home.

This is not the case with the democrats because they’re a collectivist party by nature and they’re also big believers in incrementalism and it works really well for them.

Many on here would swear on anything that I’m a democrat and I’d consider voting for Cassidy.

Technically I’m a No Party so doesn’t quite fit.

Cassidy is a Democrat. He declared himself republican, but hasn't changed his stances.

In other words, phony Republicans have found their stalking horse that they think will allow them to keep the governor’s mansion in filthy Democrat hands.

What stances are you talking about exactly? Most of his votes in the Senate have been in line with the GOP.

This would be hilarious, but Louisiana "Republicans" can frick up a gubernatorial election without batting a single eye.

Louisiana dems HATE Bill Cassidy, even more than republicans do, most of whom would actively try to murder him in the event the Purge happened in real life.

He voted for the non-infrastructure bill like his master McConnell.

Satterberg made public in 2018 that his political views align with the Democratic Party.[7]

So this guy is truly a RINO.

I need odds btw that Jindal serves again in any elected office. He’s still pretty young

I'm quite surprised he's not floating any trial balloons for 2023, but I think his name is truly Mud in Louisiana political circles.

I thought Bobby would have run for Congress by now. JBE has done a great job of making Bobby’s mediocre tenure as governor look fantastic.

Something like 19 other GOP senators also voted for it.

Is that single bill the reason you believe he’s more of a democrat than a Republican?

Yes, and all 19 are worthless pieces of shite for doing so.

He's a Democrat. Just because he changed parties in 2004 doesn't make it any less so.

Whether he claims to be a Democrat or Republican, his loyalty to a party > his loyalty to America.

He's as much a "Republican" as Heroin Dan Satterberg.

No. He was until he was exposed and called out by KTTH, who basically blacklisted the entire Washington State GOP and threatened to outwardly campaign for every one of their opponents at all levels as long as they claimed him.

If he’s a democrat, he’s a pretty crappy one based on his voting record. His Supreme Court votes alone would make him one of the worst Dems in congress.

For the last time, I DON'T CARE WHAT PARTY HE IS IN.

Just because I agree with Joe Manchin supporting his constituents, which Cassidy refuses to do, doesn't mean I think he should become a Republican.

I’m just confused by what you consider a “republican” I guess given that he overwhelmingly votes with the GOP.

He's not a conservative. He's a Republican.

Ok, if you say so. Agree to disagree. Comparatively speaking, he’s pretty conservative imo. His votes on abortion, Supreme Court, gun rights, oil/gas, etc. have all been in line with conservative viewpoints.
