McCain did some at Friars Dinner. OBama laughed his arse off. It was the McCain that was somewhat funny and endearing and we didn't see on the campaign trail

I can see that, but that dinner seems to be an exception. That's the same dinner where Trump grilled Hillary in 2016, right?

Saw Rickles live. At the Desert Inn. Larry King was in the audience... Jesus, don’t I sound like an old Jew. It was the day Walter Matthau had died. Again sounding like an old Jew.
The funniest act I’ve seen in my life. That man was/is a hero to me. There are many times I put on Rickles and Sinatra on Carson. Dean, Sammy. Can you believe Doc is still alive?
