Lets sell them all that you and your family own, and start there.

CFIUS should take a look at this sale. They should also analyze it in the aggregate with other large land purchases by Chinese companies and former military officers.

Run on a platform that seizes all lands sold to foreign entities

Oh really? I wonder what they are doing on 130,000 acres in preparation for that war.

You have evidence the Chinese are using American land in furtherance of a war?

Most of the foreign-owned farm land I’m aware of is leased out to local farmers.

Greed is the downfall of this nation and China exploits it well.

For instance, its okay if someone from out of the country wants to buy ONE house. However, it becomes a serious problem if they want to buy the whole neighborhood.

If you aren’t a citizen you’re limited to 100 acres max of land and it cannot be land that produces any natural resource like oil or farmland. No foreign investment group or domestic group with more than 20% foreign stakeholders can buy US farmland, real estate, or commercial property.

What possible threats has your mind concocted exists from this sale?

They could theoretically buy enough farmland or real estate to the point they could cripple us by not using it to produce.

As long as it’s simply an investment for profit and they continue to utilize the land or property in a similar fashion an American would then fine with me.

1. Chinese national buys farmland and leases it to US farmer as an investment- fine by me.

2. Chinese national buys 100,000 farm acres and lets it sit idle- not ok and force him to sell.

Now if an American buys it and lets it sit idle then that is his right to do so as a free American citizen. However, Chinese nationals do not have the same guaranteed rights as American citizens so if they don’t play nice then we should have every right to kick them out

There were some people that wondered about Japan but Japan never behaved the way China behaves. The situations really aren't comparable.

Japan isn’t run by an anti West communist regime that seeks to be the dominant world power. They just want to sell us quality vehicles and electronics and enjoy their blurred out tentacle porn

There should also be a law of reciprocity as well. If a Mexican national can buy prime real estate in the US, an American should be able to buy, unconstrained, the same land in Mexico.

Agree here. I get tired of us allowing that shite to nations who don’t return the favor to us

It’s the gov fault and reason why there are only 4 major food producing companies left in America- they killed off every small farmer in the country

The reason there are only 4 is because greed, like the guy in OP, caused families to sell their company to giant corporations. All those brands owned by those companies used to be individual companies

It’s sad really. Nobody cherishes anything anymore

Yes they do.

Plenty of the types of capitalists that will sell the communists the very rope with which they will turn around and hang them.

CCP plays chess to our checkers.

Why does this bother you? Are you willing to buy it for the price he sold it for

Because China is openly diabolical and hostile towards western life. It's accepted truth that they insert spyware and "accidentally" put poison into goods made in China.

It is not a good idea to let them have control over the production of our food.

BLM and they can lease it to me for hunting. Are the 130,000 acres contiguous?
