Check out what NYC looked like before the mid-90s: that's what it's headed back to. On the plus side, it was a great setting for movies like Escape from New York LINK

Most of Escape was filmed in St Louis after a fire. Carpenter and his team didn’t have to do much set dressing for what they needed.

Maximum pain inflicted on that cess pool is what it and it’s people deserve for voting in Diblasio and a Cortez.

Rooting against part of your nation due to political differences says a great deal more about your character than theirs.

In the mid-70s, it was “Ford to City - Drop Dead”.

In 2020, it is “Wealthy Citizens to City - Bye”.

It will take a few years for NY to reach 70s-80s levels of chaos/decay. LINK

The financial crisis coincided with the blackout of 1977, which led to looting and arson throughout the city. 1,000 fires were reported.

As opposed to the nightly riots and looting they are having right now?

It isn’t necessarily the same one night cost but it adds up over time.

$12k per day is $4.4M per year

$12k / (1-0.85) is $80k per day or $29.2M per year

Really?

No it doesn't. New York assholes hate the rest of the country, the south more than anywhere else.

nothing wrong with hating them back

Twice now I've typed long explanations to your formula and deleted out of doubt, lol.

I know this, you are using an profit margin or net gain formula, when working from a starting cost.

If I wanted to earn 85% profit margin on 12k cost, I would use your formula to give me the retail needed to achieve that.

I want to say that you need to add 85 percent of 12k (10,200) back to 12k. So you would come to 22,200 in daily revenue or 8.1 mill annually.

It's like they don't learn a damn thing isn't it? Those type people have got to be the dumbest SOBs on the face of the earth. They are like damn fire ants. You can't kill them completely, they just move on to somewhere else and wreak havoc.

And they will use Kamala Harris as VP to keep looting. They already have their scapegoat in place. It’s amazing people don’t see the forest through the trees.

The people that live there are 100 percent looney toon. Check this example out from the comments...

@Alex then it is time for NYC to enact a vacancy tax that makes empty places less of a comfortable write-off for landlords. Considering how empty storefronts require more civic investment in policing than full ones do, the city would be entirely justified in taxing them.

Taxing a landlord for merely having a vacant space. That is maximum level idiocy. This is a simpleton that would vote for Deblasio again and celebrates AOC.

Hating and wishing misfortune on people you have never met is not a good look.

There are lots of folks with all kinds of views in every place, no place is a monoculture.

This is not accidental. The left is intentionally driving this headlong plunge into the oblivion in order to herald in the new socialist utopia once society has finally collapsed.

fricktard. Trump is from NYC.

I honestly don’t get the irrational hatred that many of you have for the city.
