BamaSJW never provides a fancy chart with deductible information either. Weird.
As I've said, he doesn't care at all about deductibles or their financial impact on individuals and families. His focus is on the money his HCS can soak in from insurance companies.

Why does a lab rat care about the ACA? Job security?

Glad my 50% increase in premiums and 100% increase in deductible is historically slow in your eyes..

Yep. If his HCS profits, he gets a better budget to work with and maybe a little extra bonus to pocket.

Compulsive lying to protect your lifestyle that is funded by others is another trait of today's Progressive.

And I am paying $575 a month and have a $5000 deductible. Sounds about right.

Keep in mind, that person getting his silver plan has to pay a full 10% of his yearly salary before he can begin using his insurance. After this, how much is covered by the insurance, and how much more must he come out of pocket for?

Meanwhile Insurance Companies are pulling out of the Exchanges as fast as they can, and guess what? their profits are going up.

ETA
Just checked out the silver plan....the deductible is $3177.00. The good news? the cap on out of pocket individuals on the silver plan is $6110.00 for an individual, and for a family it is $12,270. They better hope they don't get sick, or that $22,000 isn't going to go very far, is it?

Silver Plan

You confuse contextualizing something with defending or endorsing the current status quo.

There needs to be reform. The problem is the AHCA makes things worse.

In terms of forecasters of the ACA they were actually the most accurate.
Those were the folks who labeled the ACA budget neutral because 10yrs of taxes paid for 6yrs of the program. Right?

That is one helluva bold statement, considering there will be no AHCA until the House and Senate reconcile comparative approaches.

Considering the opposition, pretty damn good unlike Obama who couldn't get Gitmo closed in eight years.

Did he makes all of these promises and think there would be no opposition?

Remember the democrats most people around here hated for blaming republican gridlock for Obama's lack of accomplishments? You're them now.

Many people want single payor.. we have that in the form of Medicaid, just many people don't qualify. If we were to implement a single payor system like Canada or UK, then expect to have to wait months to have things like an angiogram to see if you need stints to open up a clogged artery.. just hope you don't have a heart attack while you are waiting.. same with many other procedures.

Not really interested in re-litigating this argument NC.

Do you have a non-partisan forecaster you would prefer we start using instead? I am open to suggestions.

Well it is a pretty friggin important point, don't you think? LOL

That's Obamamath to the Nth degree. This was designed to fail and this was "approved" in this manner. Unreal.

But we shouldn't argue that point?

I'm certain you aren't.
When your ""non-partisan"" CBO rated a program set to hemorrhage money as being ""Budget Neutral"" because it assigned 10yrs of tax to fund 6yrs of program it lost any reasonable credibility.

That doesn't make them accurate.
It means they were the most accurate of everybody else who was pushing for Obama Care. None were accurate.

I don't think anybody expected perfect.

Is everyone on Medicare/Medicaid ill?

Didn't think so.

(Medicare also has some pretty high costs because of its patient acuity - which would be and have been dwarfed by risk pools).

None of them have any idea. And to push the passage of a bill based on it is dishonest. yet, that is what happened. We won't even get into the "Is it a tax?" argument. Or one of the framers of the bill saying they could get the bill passed because they were depending on the American people being stupid.

American people are too stupid to understand this
