It feels like to me that the dems are a lot more loyal to each other than repubs. For them to put this bill through knowing Trump is strong on military but not putting wall funding in there. The dems just sit back and laugh.

It’s fundamental. In general, conservatives believe in individuality and independence, while progressives believe in collectivism. By default, their mindset is the collective. It’s why they love their groupthink and loyal voting blocks. Individual thinking will always cause more fraction in a group.
