More doom and gloomy from the media over the tax bill.

quote:

local governments, politicians who were planning to raise your taxes will not

quote:

I think we'll be surprised at how quickly politicians with national ambitions will bring their marginal tax rates down on both income taxes and on property taxes

Then the biggest fear of them all...

quote:

The strong economic growth that will flow from the tax cuts, the higher value of stocks and bonds, that savings that people have from lower taxes ... will help the Republicans win House and Senate seats

They might as well just outright say it, "we don't care about the people, we just care about "winning""

It's sickening that this is what politics is.

How do Democrat’s in the Senate and House vote against tax cuts, which their constituents want? They are falling on their swords to thwart Trump, but this will lead to their undoing, especially when the economy is beginning to roar.

So I get to keep more of my money, and then I'll get to keep even more of my money.

I didn't read the article, but is it portraying this as a negative?

And this is being presented as a negative by the propaganda outlets, thus ensuring that even more people will recognize them as propaganda outlets.

It reads like The Onion.

You're gonna save more money AND make more money, and the economy is going to improve in the process. Don't vote for the people who bestowed this upon you, vote for the people who voted no!

So this isn't more trickle-down on to me Reaganomics?

And we all know how that worked out... how he eventually cried uncle, publicly admitted his error, and re-raised what he had lowered ...don't we?

Oops, if your too young or old to remember.

When the middle class is seeing a substantial amount of savings how would you define that as trickle down?

You're lauding a temporary fix, a mere adjustment, as a cure?

You are aware the middle class portion is going away just in time to help bolster the failing this thing is going to create?

If you want elected people to vote only for what's best, lower their pay to 40k per year so only people who really care will run for office.

It doesn't matter. The left has been brainwashed to think tax cuts are bad no matter what, totally ignoring the problem of gov't spending.

It's beyond astounding that you give taxes cut to them, and all they can say is "yeah, but millionaires get cuts too "

Haven't examined it, but if it's more kicking the can down the road, then no.

If you remember the 80s as anything other than the most glorious peacetime economic success of the century, then you are an idiot.

You dhimmocrats also called Reagan's SDI 'star wars' in attempts to ridicule it, yet it now stands as the sole hope of defending the nation from nuclear attack = especially from rogue states like NorK.

Only a dipshit useful idiot can still disparage the Reagan Economy - it is what propelled us thru the end of the Clinton Administration - Clinton's distraction of the economy took place just as he was leaving office - so you could blame it all on Bush.
