Serious question. Do you ever research and verify articles and so called "experts" in the Reuters, AP, NPR, WAPO, NYT, CNN "stories that you read? Or do you take every single word they say or write as nothing but whole truth?

He's not saying it doesn't exist, he's saying it isn't "novel". "Novel" suggests that it's new and just appeared out of thin air. He's arguing that it was invented in a lab and tinkered with, but was invented in 2005. He's not saying there is no virus, he's saying that it's not new. It's a carefully curated bioweapon that was intentionally released.

That is exactly what he says in the video. His point of contention is that it is not "novel" since it has been patented before it was released. Even a little research will lead a person to the 2015 paper from the Wuhan lab coauthored by scientists at UNC about using a mouse virus as the backbone and creating a chimera with a bat coronavirus. A year and a half ago, it was hosted by the UNC website but somehow was removed. The last time I checked, it was still up at the Wuhan lab website.

Notice the last two authors of the paper - Zhengli-Li Shi & Ralph S Baric. Li ZhengLi is the famous bat lady. As far as this being covid, maybe, maybe not, but it is the way something like covid would be developed. Just run it through the human lung cell cultures a couple more times.
