Gary Smith from LaPlace to be the next JBE. A completely generic inoffensive white male democrat to fool Louisiana's sheep voters again and lie about being a conservative Dixiecrat.

If I’m remembering correctly, Gary’s Smith’s voting record is a bit more to the left of what JBE’s was as a legislator. Not that the vast majority of Louisiana voters pay attention to voting records. FB posts and memes will carry the day.

I didn’t realize the Governor had that sole power.

The next constitutional convention has to feature making the Governor less powerful and decentralizing power away from Baton Rouge.

Manchin and Sinema. They are holding out for the right price.

They're designated heels.

The Dims have to keep their voters in line without actually doing anything. For example, last year Pelousy let the House pass a minimum wage increase and said "Look! We tried but that meanie Mitch blocked it!" Now they can't blame Mitch so it's the parliamentarian or Sinema/Manchin.

Republicans do the same thing. Have 4-5 people who take turns being the obstacle.

It's known as "villain rotation".

Yep. "Well, old buddy, I was it last time. It's your turn to be the bad guy and stop this enormously popular law from being passed."

but, the genius of the system is that fricker will be facing his voters and his opponent will hammer this.

Nah... his voters support this.

The professional RINOs that put money behind JBE may do so again with a different democrat but they're not going to get as much support as they did in 2015 and 2019. Hell, they lost a lot of support in 2019 even if it wasn't enough for JBE to lose but he did lose several parishes that he won in 2015 including the one I live in right now.

If the GOP runs a conservative candidate without flaws who can unite the party... that candidate will win easily.

That candidate is NOT Landry or Pinky. Maybe it's someone else.

Once again I'd like to thank the idiots of Jefferson Parish for ensuring JBL got re-elected...
What about the idiots of EBR, Caddo and Orleans? they all voted for JBE in a higher percentage than Jefferson

That's his personal page.

Here's his campaign page. LINK

Here he is being best buds with one of the most corrupt politicians in Louisiana history, John Alario himself.

But the last several statewide races outside of Governor have had black democrats run there and furthermore, black democrats vastly outnumber white democrats in the house and senate. They're itching to take control of the party from the white folks.

This is why Democrats like JBE are against closed primaries. White Democrats would never win another statewide office. JBE and Foster "One-Eyed Jack" Campbell are the only two left.

RINOs and Cucks like Bill Cassidy are against closed primaries because folks like him would never get to the runoff.

Republicans are idiots. The LaGOP should censure his arse and all the others. They backed down over money instead of doing the right thing. JBE won’t even give them their funding anyway. Fools.
