According to The Hill, Harris and other 2020 presidential hopefuls are "flocking" to a number of red states to help 2018 Democratic congressional candidates campaign for the midterm elections in November.

However, Harris, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and former Vice President Joe Biden are all campaigning with their eyes towards their own potential 2020 bids.

LINK
McCain (from his deathbed) encouraging Biden to run in 2020 is the democratic plan. The theme so far is that President Trump is causing us worldwide geopolitical shame. Stand by for Obama 2.0. No room for moderacy.

Because of Biden's age he will campaign on running one term. All other dem primary candidates will be told to backdown it is Biden's turn. I actually think they will put Kamala Harris on hold for Biden's rise. (She will be his VP)

I think they think only Biden could win a debate v. Trump. But the democrats still didn't get the memo that no one cares about some fake 'I am an expert on foreign policy-Biden' America rejects transnational marxist globalism, therefore Biden. But Biden will appear as a working class guy having a beer with them in a bar like he really cares.

I think I remember America telling anything Obama 2.0 to go frick itself a year and a half ago. I believe that's still relevant.

In their minds they think people will crawl through glass to vote in Biden; as he sits in a PA bar having a beer with the working class Trumpocrats. Obama 2.0 w/o the bible and guns insult is their plan. Biden will say McCain (emphasizing McCain is a republican) told him to do this from his death bed to save everybody from a good economy Obama really started.

I wonder if Biden's perverted pedo ways will come out after he announces and it is too late to replace him?

He was pretty quick to back down when Trump shot back at him over his provoking statements.

Biden the child molester. Not sure that's the smart choice when you want to make it a war against women media strategy.

I doubt that Kamala Harris, her entire campaign staff, and each person voting for her and urging her to run for President has actually met a Trump supporter.

Selfishly I hope that her strategy is to try to convince all her new friends she meets in Trump country how racist, sexist, misogynistic and homophobic they are, while telling them they have a moral obligation to stop going to church and should bicycle everywhere to save the environment, even through they don’t have neighbors and their work commute is 45 minutes by pickup, which is also used to maintain their property.
That should show all the Trump voters the light. Informing them how misguided they are.

The big question isn't who will be running, but what will the scene look like by then? If NoKo has signed a peace deal (especially if they are going forward with some sort of reunification) and Unemployment is still below 4% (or even in the low 4's) and GDP is averaging 2+% then it's going to be extremely tough to beat Trump. If he's able to extract us from Syria by then... that's major icing on the cake.

In such a scenario even a Harris-Booker ticket that sews up 80-90% of the black votes would be hard pressed to beat Trump simply because so many of the black voter base at large are starting to see the Democrat party as leaving them behind (especially if the Dem ticket uses for amnesty for illegals as a major platform).

The truth is, not enough people are buying into the left's outrage over everything Trump does to get any of those clowns elected.

Consistent with just about every poll ever taken on the matter, Americans always care more about the health of the economy and the jobs outlook than they do special interests.

If Trump keeps doing what he's doing, the Dem's messaging is going to fall on some resoundingly deaf ears this fall, and again in 2020.

debate

I think that for the 2020 debates, with the amount of knowledge gained in the previous four years, and knowing the facts and figures, that the President will be able to take an even bigger crap on the whole lot of them than he did in 2016.
