Why wait until Aug. Sept to finish?

Agree. If they wait this long it will come election year fodder. And the manufactured uproar could affect the election. Need to get it done by the end of June. It's already taken too long.

I'm pretty sure that the target of an investigation is notified that they are a target. If they are targets they know already and are lawyered up. Next you will hear from their attorneys saying their clients are about to be indicted if indeed this is taking place. These attorneys will be from the kind of law firms which will then begin to spin to the media that their clients are being indicted as political retribution. And if it is in DC, they are not scared. Book and TV deals or even Go Fund Me accounts have filled their defense attorney piggy banks. Think McCabe, Brennan and Comey. I'm not sure they all have TV or book deals but they each have at least one. $$$$$s for defense.

Lol anyone halfway literate who has watched a cumulative 40 hours of cop/lawyer shows knows there more than enough for a litany of charges, same for Hilary.

That's cutting it close to the election. If Trump doesn't win, it all gets swept under the rug.

It's truly amazing the length of time it takes to conduct an "investigation" when it involves the swamp. Any regular Joe would have charged within weeks.

It's also good political theater if there indictments and arrests.

They're dealing with a double edged sword there in that if the case(s) don't appear on their face to be near slam dunks, then there will be extremely loud cries of "Trump weaponized the DOJ for campaign purposes!" Any of these cases are absolutely going to have to be basically prepared for jury trial the moment any indictments would be unsealed.

By way of example, I don't know exactly how long it took to investigate and prep all evidence for presentation to grand jury in the biggest mob cases, but it surely was at least this long. Similar complexity between the matters.

anybody involved in this with anything to worry about has likely recieved a target letter, no need to worry about giving a "heads up", it wont be a surprise to anybody involved

the way things go for prosecuting at that level I assume your case has to be airtight.

Or the target has to be associated with Trump.

So we will have September and October to find out who’s getting indicted? Just in time.

It was reported months ago to be happening, then 'by summer' and then July, then changed to Sept. because of COVID-19. But then a report or two came out saying Durham drove to DC such and such time and COVID-19 hasn't hindered the investigation. So either no one really knows or it is a stall tactic?

Nunes and Grassley seem to be the only ones lighting a fire under their asses warning about trust. What is Graham doing, he said he was hauling in the bad guys to the committee awhile ago. If he did they could have had even more clear perjury.

Or hell haul in Honest Bob and ask him under oath why he hired hacks and what he knew about the Flynn set-up...

You damn right it better be airtight. If someone walks after he indicts, the press will make sure EVERYONE sees it as a political play. He's gonna have to make sure he nails them to the wall or the press/Dems will have a field day with it.

(What does it matter at this point gif)...... The press is gonna twist everything anyway. They will never stop going after Republicans....
