I'd really recommend taking a look at your spending and having an accountant look at your tax positions.

Taxes are out of control, but you shouldn't be losing that much to the government.

Calm down, bud. I was just messing with the dude for the "I pay your salary" comment. lmao.

If you have a job, no matter what it is, I respect you. Period. If you are paying into the system, you have a say as to what your money is being spent on.

I don't disagree in theory. However the entitled "i pay your salary" claims are a bit over the top so I was giving them a hard time about it.

Chill.

It really isn't a difficult concept to grasp, yet all you seem to care about is insulting your political enemy, even down to insulting people who work at restaurants. My kid works at a restaurant. He is learning accountability at an early age. You are really going to hate him when he's older and productive.

Calm down. I match the energy of my interlocutors. This board is constantly lashing out and throwing out every insult imaginable. Don't throw insults around if you can't take them.

Funny how all you progressives love to insult low wage earners, yet that is the vast majority of your voting base. Well, that, along with the people who pay nothing.

For the 10,000th time I am not a progressive lmao. Newsflash: disagreeing with MAGA and retarded populism does not make one a progressive.

Hire someone who already knows what they're doing, pay attention, and ask questions. Get used to being able to account for every penny that comes in and goes out.

That's it. That's the secret.

Max out 401K, max out HSA, live in a low income tax state.

I live in TX and my house is relatively cheap so I pay less SALT than I would in other states.

Basic stuff if you are a wagie.

I also had capital loss carryovers from prior years.

1. Admitted a hospice patient which includes medicating symptoms of pain or shortness of breath, and about 4 hrs of medicare-justifying documentation
2. Taught the family the 8 Stages of End of Life and Signs of Imminent Death. Family went home as patient was in Stage 4 (still responsive to sound/verbal stimuli) & not imminent/actively dying.
3. Next night, patient was in Stage 5, now only minimally responsive to touch as eyes opened briefly during mouth care. Told family they could go rest at home as I would call them with any major changes.
4. Third night, patient went comatose (completely unresponsive to sound & touch) in Stage 6 but was breathing evenly every 3 seconds & unlabored with no agonal breaths. Notified family (who stayed home) of change in status.
5. At midnight, the comatose patient started having agonal breaths with sustained 10 second pauses between each breath in Stage 7. Called the family to come to bedside. 15 minutes after they arrived, the patient passed peacefully (Stage 8). Called the coroner & funeral home. Hugged the family & told them it was an honor to take care of their loved one.
