re: Rep Luna on the Epstein Files: Obama appointed Judge has ordered a SECOND review

Here's Judge Engelmayer's order and opinion. You read through it and find any order of a "second review."
Engelmayer has no jurisdiction to order the DOJ to do anything with its files.

Curse of X...I wonder what Luna meant by the judge "ordered a second review of the SDNY" files. Did that mean to see if there were any files they missed?
No. It means Obama’s judge is stalling.
Cmon Man. Damn

the DOJ has completed a review of over 5 million documents
Documents will soon be more numerous than the stars. Why in the hell does Epstein get five million documents?
This ^^^^ has always been my question and that question draws copious down votes.
What type of a person would the federal government be collecting 5 million documents on? Hmmmmm.....

You don't see the irony in a judge saying something is "demonstrably false" while at the same time refusing to demonstrate it?

No the files are held up by courts in New York and always have been. You blame bondi and Trump but so ignorant on the thing you cry most about.
This is complete and utter lie. That's why I said I wish we could see more of Luna's comments. They make no sense. Ordered Jay Clayton to review the files FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
Can anybody find the alleged order by Engelmayer???
Judge Engelmayer made it clear that he had no jurisdiction over the DOJ'S files in rejecting Massie's request for a Special Master. Here's the entire Order and Opinion.
SDNY: Engelmayer Opinion and Order 1/21/26
Here's the relevant portion:
"This Court lacks authority to grant the Representatives’ request for relief. It is axiomatic
that federal courts have limited jurisdiction, as defined by the Constitution and federal law. See
Badgerow v. Walters, 596 U.S. 1, 7 (2022). The Representatives have not articulated how the
criminal statutes under which Maxwell was charged would empower the Court to enforce the
EFTA. They have not cited any case supporting that Congress’s grant to federal district courts of
exclusive original jurisdiction to hear cases brought under federal criminal law, see United States
v. Balde, 943 F.3d 73, 88–89 (2d Cir. 2019) (citing 18 U.S.C. § 3231), carries with it the
authority to superintend enforcement of the EFTA, a civil records-disclosure statute. No
provision of the EFTA vests this Court with that authority.
The Court is also unaware of authority supporting that a district court’s inherent, although
limited, supervisory power “to oversee the administration of criminal justice,” In re United
States, 945 F.3d 616, 627–28 (2d Cir. 2019) (citation omitted), empowers it to broadly oversee
compliance with that civil statute. See Amici Reply at 4–6 (so arguing). No party here has
claimed that this step is necessary to ensure the integrity of Maxwell’s conviction, which became
final upon the denial of her petition for certiorari. See Clemente v. Lee, 72 F.4th 466, 476 (2d
Cir. 2023). And a federal court’s supervisory power over a criminal case generally does not
extend to redressing injuries to non-parties. See, e.g., United States v. Payner, 447 U.S. 727,
734–36 (1980); United States v. Hasting, 461 U.S. 499, 505–07 (1983)"

I'm not even making an argument here other than to say what the judge said - his actual words - are stupid.
Posted on 1/21/26 at 5:11 pm to TigerAxeOK
Do not release any of the files until after Bill and Hilary Clinton either testify or are imprisoned for Contempt of Court.
Posted on 1/21/26 at 5:14 pm to Ailsa
There simply is no Order of a second review.
I searched the docket.

She said that the judge “ordered a second review of the files BY SDNY’s U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton”.
As far as I can tell, this is COMPLETELY fabricated unless there is some new version of "an order" that doesn't require it to be filed and listed on the Court's docket.

It couldn't mean that, because Engelmayer doesn't have the authority to order DOJ to do anything with their files.

I found the entirety of Luna's remarks. She was just repeating what Todd Blanche told her about something to do with reviewing to redact victims' names.
That couldn't have been any recent order from Engelmayer. Lovely Luna's remarks start just after the 20:00 mark:

13 months ago. Not 18 months ago as you claimed.
And I didn't post it to show that he was a patriot. I posted to show that Massie was consistent about transparency in both the Epstein and hush fund instances.
What has ANYBODY said since?
