The deep state is trying to hold on to its power by creating a perceived ambiguity.
And Barr & Rove (who know better) are parroting a lie to do just what you said.
This is how you know Barr is 100% deep state.

But again, the courts gave Presidents wide latitude to decide what is personal records. It’s pretty much their discretion.
I highly doubt he's going to be able to make a case that human intelligence gathered by spys and military secrets which would damage the nation if they were to fall into foreign hands, are somehow personal records.

You are posting a defendants pleading as if it is fact?

The US President has plenary authority to declassify.

None of the statutes outlined in the search warrant are based off of classification of documents.
The warrant reads: "Property to be seized:
All physical documents and records constituting evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or other items illegally possessed in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 793, 2071 , or 1519.”
18 U.S. Code § 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information
18 U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally
18 U.S. Code § 1519 - Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy
I'm happy to copy and paste the full statutes if anyone cares to read them.

The warrant isn’t a statement of fact or a finding of law. It simply outlines what the agents can seize. Basically anything the agents deem “evidence”. So basically anything they wanted. There is zero probative value from the warrant itself.

Clearly you aren’t an attorney.
LOL.
The warrant shows they had probable cause. The statutes outlined in the warrant show what laws they believe Trump broke.
So yeah it matters.

A warrant means a judge (in this case an admitted biased judge) found probable cause based upon what law enforcement told them. We also know that law enforcement told the judge an informant said classified documents were being held in a safe. That was untrue. The probable cause that you claim has probative value was based upon false information.
You need to look up what probative means, because having statues in a warrant does not matter…at all…to the adjudication of a case. This isn’t difficult stuff

they're going to charge him with possessing government documents and obstruction.
Whatever he took to Mar a Lago when he left office belonged to Trump, same thing Bush, Carter, Regan, bama, and Clinton did, and were automatically declassified once they were on their way to Mar a Lago.

He didn’t declassify everything. He redacted some of it.

quote:
Section 1. Declassification and Release. At my request, on December 30, 2020, the Department of Justice provided the White House with a binder of materials related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Portions of the documents in the binder have remained classified and have not been released to the Congress or the public. I requested the documents so that a declassification review could be performed and so I could determine to what extent materials in the binder should be released in unclassified form.
quote:
January 17, 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation noted its continuing objection to any further declassification of the materials in the binder and also, on the basis of a review that included Intelligence Community equities, identified the passages that it believed it was most crucial to keep from public disclosure. I have determined to accept the redactions proposed for continued classification by the FBI in that January 17 submission.
quote:
I hereby declassify the remaining materials in the binder. This is my final determination under the declassification review and I have directed the Attorney General to implement the redactions proposed in the FBI's January 17 submission and return to the White House an appropriately redacted copy.
quote:
b) This memorandum shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations. (c) This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person. (d) The Attorney General is authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in the Federal Register. DONALD J. TRUMP

The tweet was just Trump letting it be known. Who cares if they even went to court over the tweet. It means nothing. It was done officially, and they all know it.
They just like to make accusations and sue the man for breathing.

More reading if interested. Was this not enough or did the cabal strike back and win and regain their role in the crisis we are still watching today?

I see you are stomping out more ignorance!
For some reason they refuse to believe what is clear cut plain as day.
They want to believe so bad that Trump did something illegal when it was impossible for him to do so. Even if he tried.
