I don’t like Obama but this isn’t really true. He was one of the main drivers of moving the space program to commercial fixed price contracts. He took a big risk and was a huge driver behind spacex being able to compete with the cost plus government contractors. Probably the only thing he got right.

bullshite, he got them focusing on Muslim contributions in math

Finally, trying to give Obama credit for SpaceX's success is like giving Biden credit for DOGE.

Coincidentally Obama did create the department that would be renamed to doge by trump with a. Vision of modernizing our digital services and making us more efficient.

Was this before, or after, he hired Michelle’s sorority sister to create the disastrous Obamacare website for $600k, which ended up actually costing $2 billion?

Constellation (which was W's Shuttle's successor)

Constellation was a bloated mess similar to SLS. Even the Shuttle was a project due to the government not giving a shite about space as much as it used to.

To put it bluntly, we stopped giving a crap after Neil and Buzz left the moon’s surface during Apollo 11.

George Bush set that in motion after Columbia crashed. Moved all the Earth Science Application money from Clinton to ‘flying out the space shuttle’. They were never going to make more ETs no matter what Obama did. The qualified suppliers had vanished.

Bullcrap “CMtiger”, or whatever your name is.

First hand, I witnessed the effects of what Obama did to NASA.

New Orleans East, NASA Michoud facility had to shut down the fuel tank programs they used to build and barge over to Florida or Texas, among other programs shut down.

NASA MICHOUD became a ghost town relatively to what it once was.

I did a project there during that time & first hand knowledge with my own eyes and ears.

And Secondly, more first hand knowledge, I bought a heavy industrial facility towards the NASA Mississippi location and NASA airport or whatever it’s called.

And the facility I purchased used to manufacture specialty polymers and create physical parts for the space shuttles.

The company that built and owned my place is on every continent & does this around the world, but when Obama came in, that’s when they shut down their USA facility.

Do your own research before speaking falsely about that POS HUSSEIN.

He didn’t do one thing positive for this country!

He purposely divided people and set back race relations by decades.

He purposely appointed Muslim Brotherhood Members in our DOD and other national security positions.

He was their Manchurian Candidate & I would say that he is Public Enemy #1 as far as I’m concerned. And in regards to the visible political leaders, he’s the worst president ever, along with Woodrow Wilson, Lyndon Johnson, Joe Biden.

Jimmy Carter in that # too, but I don’t think he was outright evil with that group.

F@&k Hussein Sotoro, not even a USA citizen.

How is MAF making Artemis's core stage? Aren't they using the same/similar materials as used on ET?

Probably so, but I'm suggesting Obama didn't kill Constellation because of "bloat", but because he didn't want Bush's name credited with a space program.

NASA did nothing of significance during his run of fundamentally changing America.

Same friction stir jig and welding lathes.

Would have been cool to see a new space plane, but apparently gluing together cryogenic vessels doesn’t work.

Ok, but back to the claim that no additional ETs could be manufactured because the suppliers had closed up shop. What materials is Artemis now using that would not have been available then? Are they that different?

Not exactly.

Primary military evironment:

Navy and the Coast Guard (Sea)

Army and the Marines (Ground)

USAF already covers all air. "Space Force" is a new dept of military redundancy.

They had supplies to build X ETs when the call to fly out the space shuttle was made…around 2004 or so…there was never talk of ‘one or two more’ flights because those supply contracts with vendors had ended. Last flight was long after that announcement, 6-7 years.

I bolted when they rolled out the incentive package to stick around until the end. Somewhere in the 2008 timeframe. I think each space shuttle was qualified for 100 flights…so that wasn’t the limiting factor.

(in "Space Force" Trump created yet another branch of the military (USAF already exists to cover the wild blue yonder.))

Not military.

Yes, NASA has been and IS militarized. What do you think they've been doing since 1957? (or even since 1973?)

Their main focus or agenda has been on weaponizing the weather, whether y'all deny it or not. They are ON RECORD.
