You come in and say, sarcastically,

Yeah, sure. Drinking bottled water makes plastic get in your lungs.
Insinuating that it is from masks, like OP is claiming.
This is a joke? It was a direct response to a guy that came in here claiming the plastic in lungs if from bottled water. Any association to Op's article is yours.

You should read the whole article because it certainly doesn't seem to assert what you are suggesting.

That’s not the issue. I couldn’t care less if they do or don’t.
This issue I have is that someone can post just the title of an article and come up with a conclusion on their own that the article doesn’t even mention…and people on this board blindly eat it up as fact!
That’s insane to me

Not to mention wearing one after use is disgusting. Your body is also meant to exhale without restriction to rid the body and take in new.
Exactly!!! That is the purose of exhalation!!
Stop wearing those masks!!

At this point, no matter where I'm at, I point people out that are still wearing mask's and laugh at them. A green haired shim didn't think is funny a few weeks ago at my bank.

Its been stupid to still be wearing them for a while now, but I'm not going to shame someone for doing what they want to do that doesn't affect me in a free country either.
You'll provoke some scrawny green-hair, but no chance you would do the same to someone who could actually kick your arse.

This is hilarious. He didn’t come in here claiming that, he literally posted a piece of the article that OP is linking!

I suspect that most people who are wearing masks aren't wearing them with polypropylene, which are definitely in surgical masks, not that that fact would make any difference to the OP.

You won’t respond to my edited post because you were just blatantly wrong.

I'll agree with you there. But as I stated, I never took a stance one way or another in my initial post.
But I think we're all intelligent enough to realize that the loose particles can and are breathed in when wearing those cheap China Masks.
Would also agree there's probably as much plastic fiber in everyone's house from your carpet that you breathe in every day. I ripped up every shred of carpet in all the houses I've ever owned. Hate the stuff.

OK, so now you are just making up your own thoughts. Which is perfectly fine, but OP pretended like it was an actual article that proved this rather than just another conspiracy theory from the far right.
Link me an article from NPR or any other msm site with in depth discussion of the possible negative side effects of masks or a critical view of their use. I would be interested to see it

LOL, what a clickbait title.
If you read any of the articles actually posted lower, you don't see one mention of a mask anywhere.
There are microplastics in people, but this is due to all the microplastics in nearly all consumer goods. Not because you wore a mask over your face.
Man I wish people here would stop believing every thing posted, especially without a source.
Posted on 4/29/22 at 7:44 pm to anc
Those are some large microplastics.

This is true.

This is unknown.
But keep acting as though you know everything.

Nope, cause I didn't and I'm in healthcare. frick those masks.
