Those guys on those ships and flying those jet sign a contract. That contract states the risks involved. It they were looking for an easy ride they should have joined the peace corps. I pretty sure everyone is probably pretty pumped up and ready to go. You obviously haven’t spent much time around military personnel.

I’m a veteran that deployed for Iraqi Freedom so you aren’t good at reading people.

Yeah they are pumped, I didn’t say anything about the troops.

But if Iran shoots something down or directs a terrorist attack all hell will break loose.

I pretty sure I’m good at reading people considering I’m around military personnel every day at work. Let’s hope they don’t shoot anything down but that’s the risk they take.

you made this sound inevitable in your original post, with no mention of terrorist attack.

the way you phrase both here is more reasonable with your conclusion.

just fyi

also, if those are the directions they want to go (shooting things down/terrorist attack) I agree. Which is what makes the OP such a putz. "no new wars" doesn't mean we will never engage and/or sit idly by if we suffer a terrorist attack.

Oh well, I don’t really care. A chance to end the Islamic regime in Iran cannot be passed up. I support this war.

I now regret I voted for this a-hole.

A lot of people voted for Trump because they saw that the GOP was not a real opposition party and they saw Trump as a way to throw a wrench in an evil machine. Trump has just made it clear he's part of that machine. You know where people will be looking for that wrench now? Communism. See New York.

fricking idiot.

Reportedly, the U.S. and Israel have attacked Iran as of this morning. Strikes near Supreme Leader’s office are reported (regime change?)
What does the MAGA movement actually believe? No foreign intervention unless it’s Trump’s idea?

trump has proven himself to be the exact same as the swamp he claimed to be draining. War with Iran on Israel behalf? that is straight from the Cheney neocon playbook.

Trump 2016 was different, this last time around he is just a DC creature like the rest of them. That is why I thought about sitting out the last election but I figured he was more likely to keep us out of a useless war. And this is totally useless.

But damn, the Kim regime must be pretty satisfied today. Detonating a nuke was the best thing they ever did.

What war has been started? He has had kinetic action in both administrations but no new wars. There is a difference
