Remember all the “blue wave” cheerleading from the media leading up to 2018?

Every day there were multiple articles trumpeting the coming blue wave.
Well, no surprise that’s not happening for a red wave.

The house is going to flip through redistricting alone with red states adding as many as 5-6 seats in Texas, Florida and Georgia.
The GOP only needs to win 5 seats to win the house.
Add in the usual midterm backlash to the incumbent President that ranges anywhere from 10-30 seats.
The GOP is in the drivers seat for the house and democrats and the media know it.
