Didn't the officer in the vehicle specifically say he was still in the vehicle at the time? I mean, come on.

this is a long arse lunch break

should've been over like 30 minutes ago

ETA: ahh... judge said lunch for the jury came late... and that's why the lunch break ran long

damn... this dude is making $2,900 today no matter if his testimony lasts 10 minutes or 10 hours???

That’s actually pretty cheap for an expert witness. I know experts who aren’t showing up for less than 20-30K if they have to travel. This guy is likely lowering his price to drive up business, particularly in televised trials since this is his second one this year (that I know of).

shows still image from body cam (that's on Potter's chest) right after shot is fired

"can Potter see Sgt. Johnson from this image?"

"No"

WTF... it's not a glasses cam... it's on her chest and a lot of the image is being blocked by her extended arms... you can't tell what she's seeing from that image

so... academic expert is testifying the officers should've just let a man with a bench warrant... who also has a TRO out against him and an unidentified female in the car... go when he started trying to flee?????

when like 3 other officers have already testified that they have no decision in the process... if there's a warrant then they must execute the arrest

we're talking about a part of the Minneapolis metro here... I'm not putting anything above what this jury could possibly believe

ETA: the only juror I have faith in to hold the line on that 1 is the LARPer

sounds like the judge is leaning towards the defense's side

but she's gonna make a run to the potty and read over it while dropping the kids off at the pool

Nick says judge ruled against the defense

and Gray's line of questioning here early definitely seems to back up the notion that they aren't allowed to enter Wright's past here
